This controversial retelling of the story of Jesus as a gay man living in modern-day Texas explores his teachings of both love and acceptance through a new look at the new testament. Follow Joshua as he grows up as a gay man in the 1950s, gains his 12 apostles, and is ultimately persecuted.

Run Time: 120 minutes

Recommended Ages: 16+

Content Warnings: Explorations of religious persecution, themes of violence, strong language, and auditory depictions of domestic violence

This Lammy Award winning drama explores the intimate divide that exists between two women in a deeply committed relationship. On a quiet summer evening, somewhere down in the Alabama Delta, Kendra and Betty troll the flats looking for red fish. After Betty begins diagnosing Kendra’s dead-end life with career picks from What Color is Your Parachute, their routine fishing excursion takes a violent turn.

Contains: adult language, some violence, sexual situations, and depictions of domestic abuse.
